M V Kunhamu

managing director
MVK Group

M V Kunhamu, who set up MVK enterprises in 1979, could catapult the construction company to new heights with his dedication, relentless hard work and honesty in all his business practices.

Kunhamu, the CMD of MVK Enterprises, is committed to achieve high standards in all his project executions. He never compromised in terms of quality. He firmly believes that MVK could excel any civil contractor if it sticks to high quality and certainty in execution.

Kunhamu, a philanthropist, has been in the forefront of many a social service institutions and organizations. While Corporate Social Responsibility is a term that gained acceptability in recent times, Kunhamu started supporting deprived sections in the society since the inception of his small venture in 1979. For him it has not been corporate responsibility but empathy and compassion.

His commitment to the society

Mr. M.V.Kunhamu was born in November 26, 1956 to Parakkot Ahmed and Pathai Hajjumma. He started his career in civil works after quitting his job in Kerala State Transport Corporation. In fact he started his business as a public works contracter with 'C' Class license. Though he has graduated to 'A' Class, Mr. Kunhamu disinclined to take up public works for obvious reasons. An honest businessman who believes in quality cannot go with public works of Government or Government Agencies. That is his conviction.

Awards

Of course, MVK and its captain have a long list of awards and recognitions. However, it would be inappropriate if we don't mention a few.

Sri Oommen Chandy, the Hon. Chief Minister, presents an award to Sri MVK for excellent and emulating contribution in civil works at a function held in Kozhikode.
